For every CAULIPOWER, there are 100+ female founded start-ups that didn’t make it – and that is just in the food and beverage sector. In the hopes of raising the profile of the problems women face; I’d like to shine a light on the solutions we desperately need.
As it turns out, not only does starting our own businesses make us happier, but we’re also actually better at it. Harvard Business Review found that companies run by women generate a 35% higher ROI than companies run by men. This session will provide the tools women need to turn their ideas into reality, but also to prepare them for battle in a predatory world and teach them how to slay the dragons standing in their way.
By the session’s end, I want audience members to be left thinking about:
Confidence: Confidence to bet on themselves
Need for Execution: Ideas are a dime a dozen; execution is everything
Assurance: That they can do it
Insights: They do not have to know all the answers
Talent: Hire a team that knows what you don’t
Resilience: Because it will be harder than you can ever imagine
Funding. Best time to raise and from whom
