Arielle Patrick is Chief Communications Officer of Ariel Investments, a global asset management firm. She reports to Co-CEO Mellody Hobson and leads an integrated team that drives all marketing, public affairs and communications for the firm and its private equity arm, Ariel Alternatives. Patrick restructured the firm's previous five related functions into one centralized practice, now overseeing marketing, philanthropy, government affairs, internal and external communications, corporate and executive leadership communications, branding and creative. She led Ariel's rebranding strategy, earning a Platinum honor at the 2023 dotCOMM Awards, two 2023 Digital Impact Awards, and a 2023 Corporate & Financial Award for the firm's new website. Patrick sits on Ariel's firmwide Senior Leadership Team and Risk Committee. She previously served on Ariel’s former Operating Committee. She is also a licensed general securities broker (FINRA Series 7).
A recipient of PRWeek magazine's 2023 "Women of Distinction" award and the "Innovator 25" by PRovoke Media, Patrick has spent her career as an advisor to Fortune 500 public and private company CEOs and boards. Her practice focuses on investor relations, reputation management and risk assessment, crisis management and scenario planning, and all-stakeholder communications strategies for financially material matters.
