The pace of change that we are all moving at and the rate of productivity is unprecedented. We've never moved faster than now. We have this threshold of expectation for how much we accomplish and how productive we are that is 10x what it used to be. You have to ask the question: what is getting lost in that pace? I think that in this world of instant gratification, we're all racing to assume positions and make decisions quickly, but there is something about taking a moment to reflect and internalize what is going on in the world around us.

The only way to get to multi dimensional answers for these multi dimensional problems is to recognize that you have to come into it from a place of, of openness and vulnerability.

Dip out.

Elevate and take a moment to really see the bigger picture and connect the dots and realize that haste really does makes waste.

Slow Down and Connect to the World Around You.

Things get lost when you are just moving fast and breaking things and failing fast and learning fast and all of that. There's something to be said about slowing down and really connecting with the world around you.Solutions present themselves in a different way when you hold space for that.

Pay for the Help You Need.

Part of the value of hiring a consultant is that they are not as close to the issue or the solution as you are. There is real value in being an outsider, and being able to poke holes in some of the assumptions that clients are making.

I think that it's important to balance, and then be open to what's missing.

Don't Be Perfect.

We focus too much perfection. When we do that we lose sight of, or we don't leave room for there to be an aha moment to come in at the last minute.
